Breakfast Included
After breakfast, take a half-day excursion to Chandragiri hills and Bhaleshwor Mahadev by cable car. Located in southwest Kathmandu, Chandragiri Hill is a favored day-trip destination for locals and expats. From the mountaintop, visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the great Himalayan mountain ranges. The base station is less than an hour's drive from Kathmandu, and the excursion includes a cable car ride to the top of Chandragiri hills, which is 2552m above sea level. The 10-15 minute journey offers breathtaking landscapes that slowly unveil themselves, with stunning views of the surrounding areas and snowy peaks, weather permitting. On clear days, visitors can even see the Annapurna, Langtang, and Everest ranges. The Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, another attraction on the top, grants worshippers their wishes and promises an abode in Lord Shiva's world in the afterlife. According to legend, King Prithivi Narayan Shah worshipped at the temple before conquering the valley during his Nepal unification campaign in the 17th century. The rest of the day is free, and visitors will spend the night at their hotel in Kathmandu.
