Day 01: Arrival in Hong Kong & City Tour

Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check-in will be as per the standard time of 1400 hrs. Later, meet your guide for a Hong Kong city tour, visiting key attractions including Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Victoria Peak (with a one-way Peak Tram ride), the Clock Tower, and the Avenue of Stars. After the tour, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Hong Kong.

Day 02: Hong Kong - Hanoi (Hanoi City Orientation Tour / Optional Cyclo Tour and Water Puppet Performance w/ Dinner) )

No Breakfast.

Check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your guide and fellow travelers before heading into the city. Enjoy a guided walk through Hanoi’s key landmarks including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside view), Ho Chi Minh Residence, One Pillar Pagoda, and Tran Quoc Pagoda by West Lake. Enjoy free time for lunch (on your own). After hotel check-in and a short rest, you may opt for an optional tour to explore the Old Quarter by cyclo, followed by visits to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Ngoc Son Temple, and Hoan Kiem Lake. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show, followed by dinner, before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 03: Hanoi (Free Day or Optional Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Tour w/ Lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a scenic drive south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh Province. Begin your exploration at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Next visit the historic King Dinh and King Le Temples and Tombs. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Tam Coc, where you will take a traditional sampan boat ride through the limestone caves of Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. After an eventful day, return to Hanoi and head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Hanoi - Halong Bay (Overnight Cruise Experience)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Halong Bay via the expressway. On arrival at Halong International Harbour, receive a warm welcome from the cruise team and complete luggage check-in procedures before boarding. Transfer to the cruise by tender boat, followed by a meet-and-greet, safety briefing, and welcome drinks. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard as you sail towards Halong Bay. Visit Bo Nau Cave (Pelican Cave) and continue to the magnificent Sung Sot (Surprising) Cave. Later, proceed to Titov Island, where you can swim, relax on the beach, or climb to the viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views. Return to the cruise to unwind as it sails to the overnight anchorage, enjoy Happy Hour (Chargeable Offers), and take part in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration led by the head chef. End the day with a set menu dinner onboard and enjoy free time in the evening. Overnight stay on the Halong Bay cruise.

Begin your morning with a refreshing Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the cruise sails through the bay. After a light breakfast, visit the scenic Luon Cave before returning to the cruise. Enjoy a leisurely brunch buffet onboard while cruising back toward the port. Disembark at Halong International Harbour and transfer by coach back to Hanoi. On arrival, unwind with the city’s famous egg coffee at a Train Street café. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Hanoi.

It was a pleasure planning Vietnam trip with AFC and they team.
