Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon arrival at the airport, a friendly local guide will assist you to your hotel, where you'll enjoy welcome drinks and get briefed on the itinerary. After a short break, we'll explore Patan Durbar Square, revealing Nepal's history through temples and palaces built in the 16th-18th centuries. Encounter Thangka painters, lively metal shops, and taste local cuisine. Visit Swayambhunath, the Monkey Temple, for valley views. This Buddhist stupa's dome symbolizes the world, Buddha's eyes for wisdom, and a coil for unity. Drive to the hotel for check in and Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and journey to Bhaktapur, an enchanting living museum of medieval art and architecture. Known as the ‘city of devotees,’ Bhaktapur exudes religious, cultural, and tantric significance. It houses pagoda and Shikhara-style temples encircling a fifty-five-window palace of wood and brick, creating a captivating architectural ensemble. Explore the Pottery Square, observing artisans crafting clay pots using traditional techniques. Try to shape a clay pot and delve into this fascinating process. Later, we drive to Nagarkot for an overnight stay, offering breathtaking landscapes and a glimpse of the Kathmandu Valley. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before you check out. Today, you can take it easy or join the group for an Optional Tour. We'll start by going on a scenic drive to Chandragiri, a famous hill spot near Kathmandu. You can reach it by cable car or a short hike from Thankot or Mathatirtha. Chandragiri stands about 2550 meters above sea level. A long time ago, King Prithivi Narayan Shah saw the beautiful Kathmandu valley from here and decided to make it part of his kingdom. Chandragiri Hills is really pretty and lets you see the whole Kathmandu valley. If the weather is good, you might even see famous mountains like Ganesh Himal, Mount Manaslu, and Langtang Lirung. There's also a special temple called Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, as well as a resort, a tall tower for viewing, and a place for kids to play. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner while watching a live show that includes different cultural groups. The show is about 3 hours long and will give you a great experience.
