Today you will have to say farewell to this lovely Lapland city and Drive to Ivalo, after breakfast. Up next is another exciting town named Ivalo. Upon arrival, complete check-in formalities at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort and start enjoying the facilities (Standard Check-in time 1500hrs). You will have the rest of the day at leisure, to rest, or take part in one of the resort’s many winter activities. Dinner will be ready for you at the Aurora Restaurant. Gander at the unique lodging arrangements found in this arctic resort and look forward to an evening visited by the stunning Northern Lights from your room (if the weather is gracious enough). These glass igloos are designed to give you the prime location to watch the dancing lights should the weather be gracious in the evening. Today is reserved for a full leisure day for you to catch up on some more Arctic activities since you cannot do them all in one day. Kakslauttanen has a smorgasbord of winter activities in store for you to choose from. Some examples include Husky Safari, Reindeer Safari, Snowmobile or Snow tank Safari, Horse-Riding, Sleigh Rides, even Aurora Hunting.
