Xin chào and welcome to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam-- You will be picked up from Tan Son Nhat International Airport; as soon as you arrive, get acquainted with your travel companions and guide and get acquainted over lunch before you proceed for check-in at the hotel to refresh yourselves. After this, the group will visit the Jade Emperor Temple, one of the oldest temples in the city. After this, there will be some time for shopping at the Ben Thanh Market, a popular stop for tourists to buy some Ao Dai Silk or even Nike Shoes. After this, you are invited to watch the traditional Water Puppet show at the Golden Theater before joining the Welcome dinner to end the day. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Good morning-- Breakfast will be served in your hotel so that you can be properly ready for the day ahead. Today, you have the option to spend the day at leisure to shop or explore the city. You may also choose to join the group for an optional tour; Highlights of Ho Chi Minh and Cu Chi Tunnels. This tour starts at Cu Chi Tunnels-- a series of complex tunnel networks right under the Cu Chi District extending towards Ho Chi Minh. Get to know the interesting role the tunnels played in history, especially during the American Wars. There will be some safer parts of the tunnel that you may choose to experience entering. There will also be some special cassava treats and tea served. There will be some time allotted for the group to try the shooting range or go shopping for souvenirs. After this, you will drive back to Ho Chi Minh to have lunch and visit some more city highlights. Starting at the Reunification Palace (or Independence Palace) - learn more about the palace’s complicated history. Next is Vietnam’s very own Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon which was built by the French during their time in Vietnam. The basilica is also near the Old Post Office which makes it another popular stop in the city. Dinner will be ready at the hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Good Morning Ho Chi Minh! Have plenty servings of breakfast before you depart from the hotel and proceed to join the group for the Mekong Delta Tour. The group will drive to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta to cruise the Ben Tre River seeing some lively local activities along the river. You may notice some fishing or making bricks. One interesting stop is a coconut processing workshop that will have a bunch of crafts like sleeping mats. Enjoy some refreshing fruits and tea while watching the river. After this, you will board local transportation-- the tuk-tuk for a local experience passing by long green fields on your way to the pre-arranged restaurant for lunch. On your way back, take a sampan along the canal to board your bus back to the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Breakfast will be served at your hotel before you check out of the hotel. Your morning time will be free for shopping or whatever takes your fancy. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. later the group will catch the flight straight to Siem Reap, Cambodia for the second half of their holiday. Upon arrival, the group will meet the local guide and proceed to Check in at the hotel. To end the day, the group is invited to a Welcome dinner featuring a Cambodian Traditional Dance. A hearty breakfast will be served at your hotel so be sure to dig in and prepare yourself for the day ahead. Today, you have the option to Explore or Shop around Siem Reap at your own leisure or join the group for an Optional Tour of Angkor Wat. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom, the capital city of the Khmer Empire built in the 12th Century led by the twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. Angkor Thom also features the Bayon Temple highlighting 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of the Avalokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch, the group will visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area and one of the most mysterious too. In comparison to most other ancient temples, Ta Prohm is one of the least disturbed since its discovery but served as a set stage for the famous Hollywood movie "Tomb Raider". The day is not over without a visit to the most popular temple in all of Cambodia-- Angkor Wat. This temple complex covers 81 hectares of land, comparable to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. To this day, it remains the peak example of classic Khmer Empire signature architecture. After this, the group will watch the sunset from Phnom Ba Kheng Hill.

Rise and Shine- breakfast will be ready at the hotel before the group checks out and joins the scenic boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake at Kampong Phluk Village. This is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, flowing from Tonle Sap Lake, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. One of the highlights of this boat right is the view of the Fisherman’s Floating Village, including schools and police stations, fully floating on the lake, one interesting fact about the Floating Village is that it constantly moves place-to-place depending on water levels and currents. After lunch, the group will drive to Phnom Penh with a stop to visit the Spider Market in Skuon. Check into the hotel as soon as you arrive in Phnom Penh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Have a hearty serving of breakfast at your hotel to prepare for the day ahead. Today, you have the option to spend the day at leisure to shop or explore the city. You may also choose to join the group for an optional tour-- Phnom Pehn Historical Tour. This starts with the group heading out to Choeung Ek Memorial, a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge, there will be a noticeable 8,000 human skull markings that signify the site of the infamous killing fields in history, the tragic past of the Khmer Rouge is covered here. After lunch, the group will visit the Phnom Penh National Museum, housing many outstanding artefacts from the Khmer Empire craftsmanship. After this, you will visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, serving as the residence of the King of Cambodia. The group will also visit Wat Phnom before ending the day. This is a Buddhist temple sitting on top of a hill. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Travel Tips

  •  As tipping is habitual in most of the countries, it is not polite to walk out of the restaurants without tipping anything. You can tip somewhere between 10 to 20 per cent of the total bill value
