Here’s your chance to discover the treasures of Iberian Peninsula. Starting off in lively Lisbon, cross out all the must see highlights off your list on an all-encompassing city tour. Next depart to Spain and its top 2 cities, Madrid & Barcelona. Revel in the impressive landscapes and gothic architecture that dot the cities especially due to the popular architect Antonia Gaudi, the mind behind Sagrada familia and Park Guell.
 


Itinerary

Day 1 UAE – Lisbon - Orientation Tour

Welcome to the Portugal capital, Lisbon. Get acquainted with your travel mates and our tour representative followed by a quick glance around town in the orientation tour. Then proceed to the hotel for check-in and freshen up. Later in the evening, tuck in an appetising dinner. Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 2 Lisbon Guided City Tour & Santa Justa

Wake up to a ready breakfast buffet after which advance to a guided exploration of the city. Make your way to the Castelo de Sao Jorge (Lisbon Castle) sitting sublimely atop central Lisbon, once upon a time the seat of power for Portugal. Witness a spectacular panorama of the city. Then, to the intricately architected Monument to the Discovery, Belem Tower, Alfama City Walk, one of the most popular view points in the city Miradouro Das Portas do Sol, Commerce Plaza and 500-year-old Bairro Alto. Moving on to Santa Justa Elevator, a beautifully erected iron structure of neo-gothic style scaling 147ft in the middle of Baixa. Up you go for some fantastic views of the entire city. Continue to Lisbon Cathedral and Rio Tejo (Tagus River) followed by free time for lunch. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 3 Lisbon - Madrid

Begin the day with the most important meal followed by checkout from the hotel and advance to Madrid via a relaxing drive. Distance covered: 625KM Duration: 7Hrs  Upon arrival to the city, check-in to the hotel. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 4 Madrid Guided City Tour (Madrid Stadium, Retiro Park & Flamenco Show with Dinner - Optional Excursion)

Start the day with a good breakfast. Then proceed to explore the city’s delightful sights including the Royal Palace, La Almudena Cathedral, Gran Via, the main square and the lifeline of Madrid City, Puerto de Sol; popular old town square, Plaza de la Cibeles, Plaza Mayor; the oldest square around and the meeting point of the city. Plaza de Toros also the bull fighting arena, the largest flee market in the city; Rastro. Also pop by Plaza de Espana known for its gardens and Zona Azca. Later, join in the optional tour of Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Retiro Park and a Flamenco show with dinner or the rest of the day is free for leisure activities of your own. Home to the Real Madrid football club explore the stadium from inside at your own pace and get to watch videos of the iconic moments for the team. Take the time to visit the museum housing key memorabilia and trophies. Next, onto one of the largest parks in Madrid, Buen Retiro Park. Don’t miss the lake with the grand statue of Alfonso, Crystal Palace, Jardines de Cecilio Rodriduez to view peacocks, Rose Garden featuring over 4000 flourishing roses and the Statue Walk; great for a stroll while you admire the sculptures of Spain’s ancient royalty. Lastly, enter the Spanish world of music, dance and drama with a sultry Flamenco Show with Dinner. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 5 Madrid - Barcelona Enroute Zaragoza

Dig-in to the breakfast buffet this morning and get ready to drive East to the city of Barcelona. Enroute, stop by the quaint town of Zaragoza and Ebro River. Distance covered: 621KM Arrive at Barcelona in the late afternoon and head straight to the hotel for check-in. Spend the next hours relaxing in the comfort of the hotel or step out and stroll about town. Overnight in Barcelona. 

Day 6 Barcelona Guided City Tour, Montjuic Hill & Park Guell

Polish off your breakfast this morning and proceed to a half day guided tour of Barcelona. The city boasts stunning architecture of gothic influences such as the Barcelona Cathedral and Sagrada Familia. Pass by the Olympic Village, Olympic Port, Columbus Monument, Gaudi Houses and Plaza de Cataluynya. Next proceed to Montjuic Hill via a panoramic cable car ride followed by entrance to Park Guell, a UNESCO Heritage Site, composed of gardens with beautiful and colorful elements and intricate mosaic works of architect Antonia Gaudi, the same architect behind Sagrada Familia. Post the city tour proceed to lunch. The evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 7 Montserrat & FC Barcelona Stadium Tour - Optional Excursion

This morning, dig into the hot breakfast buffet. Join us to experience Montserrat along with a visit to FC Barcelona Museum and Tour. Visit the mountainous Caribbean Island of Montserrat. A massive rock topping 4000 feet high visible from miles and miles away. Differing shapes and rounded peaks offer you some of the most spectacular mountain views of Catalunya. The mountain owns up to a unique history that states during 880AD there were children that heard the angels singing. Next, head to Sant Joan funicular slope ride of Montserrat. On arriving at the top of Sant Joan you will have access to a viewpoint allowing you a bird’s eye view of the entire Monserrat Monastery. Later proceed for lunch at Montserrat. After lunch proceed to visit Camp Nou Stadium one of the most popular football stadiums in the world where you get a chance to experience the panoramic view of the stadium from the inside. The museum showcases the history of the club interestingly decorated with movies of all big wins in the latest history. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 8 Barcelona - UAE
