A break in/from Covid with AFC holidays This was by far one of the best vacations we have had. Maybe because of the exceptional circumstances. An impromptu decision after the long 7 months of frustration of working from home & not even being able to take a proper break. Like many others who travel frequently, we sually book our tickets, hotels & do our own tours, but given the Pandemic situation, didn\'t want to risk it in a new country. Hence decided to take support of AFC. Really glad I did that cos on the first night itself there was an issue with ac in the hotel & we couldn\'t change the room. Contacted AFC staff from Belgrade at midnight UAE time & he promptly acted, coordinated with the local supplier and we were moved to a different hotel within half an hour. Now this is service at its best. Everything, right from the airport pick up to the hotels, tours and even the suggested restaurants were just perfect. The covid test in Serbia was also well coordinated by AFC, took us all of 12 minutes to complete the whole process. Everyone is looking forward to a break but concerned now because of the pandemic. It was our past experience with AFC that gave us the confidence to travel during Covid. Serbia opened up for tourism but the real crowd is yet to start. Tourists seem to be reluctant because of the Pandemic, but once in the country we didn\'t feel that there was something happening in the rest of the world. A beautiful country with lush green landscapes, great food, friendly people and an excellent weather not to mention, AED can take you far??. What more can you ask for? Call AFC, get packing and enjoy the break - like us. One again thanks AFC for giving us another pleasant experience.

Great experience We had a really good experience with AFC. This is our second trip with them after Georgia. While Georgia was a group tour, Serbia was a customised one for the two of us. AFC was really helpful and professional in helping us for all formalities. We didn\'t have to message him. He reached out to us days before and every day of the tour to enquire about our wellbeing. Definitely recommend him. In Serbia, we had Alex as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and explained to us intricate details about the history and affairs of Serbian life. Without him, we wouldn\'t have learned so much about the country. Very punctual. Our PCR test arrangements for return was also taken care by him. The itenary was a good mix of both city- Belgrade, Novi sad as well the countryside- Zlatibor. Vegetarians may have some issues as almost all food available is non vegetarian. Even during Covid times we got to experience the Serbian culture. Too bad nightlife was not open, but other than that we enjoyed everything else. The hotel was also chosen well in Belgrade - right in the city centre where you can just walk and reach all important landmarks. Zlatibor studio apartment was very compact and convenient. In short we had a really good time after a really long time post Covid beginning.

We chose to go for a guided tour to ensure that we had our private transport and more time in our hands. The tour planning was well organized. The local tour operator Victor Tours made excellent local arrangements, with our stay right in the heart of Belgrade and at Hotel Mir in Zlatibor, which is a great property. Our tour guide, Marko Blagojevic, was a lovely man, and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. His knowledge about the places was incredible, and we learned a lot about Serbia. The weather was amazing at around 14 degrees with a slight drizzle. Not many Indian restaurants are available, so if you are a vegetarian, it’s better to make good arrangements for your own food.

They were available until 3 am, answering queries and airport questions, which was very reassuring. The Hotel WS was right in the center of Belgrade, making it very convenient. The tour guide was helpful, although I ended up booking some outings elsewhere because of late notice. Overall, AFC Holidays has always been a good choice for both solo and group tours.
