Soak in the bohemian ambience as you journey though the timeless buildings, quaint slim streets and trendy cafes in the historic centre of the city. Further along the tour make your way past the National Theatre, Triumphal Arch, the House of the Free Press and 3 of the most significant squares. University, Roman, Victory and Revolution. Continue on to the Village Museum depicting Romania’s traditions in an open air arena. It is one of the biggest outdoor museums in Europe showcasing the authentic country lifestyle of rural Romania.

Post this insightful tour proceed to the hotel for check-in. The day is free to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Bucharest.

Day 2 Wine Tasting & Salt Mine Tour – Optional Excursion

Rise and shine! A hot breakfast buffet is ready for you. After your meal enjoy the day free for leisure activities or come along with us to a delicious wine tasting followed by an exploration of the biggest Salt Mine in Europe.

The region of Dealu Mare spanning an area of 78,000m2, is one of the oldest wine regions in the country and dubbed as the ‘Tuscany of Romania’. Visit two of Romania’s finest wineries and get the inside story on their wine production, what sets them apart and taste internationally awarded Romanian wine. Then, move on to the largest salt mine in all of Europe, Slanic Prahova. Its prime location is surrounded by many attractions such as The Salt Mountain, The Bride’s Cave, The Shepherd’s Lake and Unirea Salt Mine which represent a salt extraction center for over 300 years. The Salt Mines are known to be beneficial to human health and serve as treatments to many illnesses and conditions. Following this remarkable outing, return transfer provided to the hotel. Day 3 Dracula Castle Tour - Optional Excursion

Welcome the day with a delicious breakfast buffet. Next, proceed to checkout from the hotel and depart to Brasov city, the land of Dracula. Upon arrival, the day is kept open to explore as you may please OR join us for the intriguing optional day trip to Dracula’s Castle accompanied by a local guide and lunch.

The trip brings you to Sinaia, a compact resort nestled in the Carpathian Mountains. Drive through the stunning Prahova valley; a popular site for winter activities. Stop over at Peles Castle built by the order of the first Romanian King Carol I Hohenzollern. Constructed in the 19th century, the architecture embodies German and Italian neo-Renaissance influences. The castle boasts 160 rooms each furnished to mirror a different European country. Next stop is the most fascinating Bran Castle; perched on a 60M high cliff. Built back in the 13th Century the castle is renowned by the myth circling Count Dracula. The final stop on your tour is at the Black Church; the name is derived from a tumultuous past. Erected in the site of an old church but ruined by the Mongol invasion in 1242. Again, in the 17th century a great tragedy struck. The church along with the city was enveloped by the “Great Fire” which caused the walls of the church to turn black, thus giving its name.
