Welcome to Beijing; Dare we say China’s party capital-- Beijing is certainly a megacity filled to the brim with things to satiate your thirst for discovery. You will arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport and get acquainted with your fellow travellers and local guide before you proceed to the hotel for check-in. You may rest your head before decidedly going out in the evening at your leisure but make sure you return in time for the welcome dinner. You will spend your first night in Beijing.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel to greet your first morning; today will be quite eventful as we take you to a day tour of Beijing to get to know the city and its story. This begins at Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City, a heritage site with over 90 palace quarters known for having the world’s largest collection of medieval wooden structures; You will also go to Silk Factory before heading for lunch. The Summer Palace awaits with the best-preserved imperial garden in the world with landscaped gardens, pavilions, temples designed to be in harmony with nature. You will return to the hotel after this unless you opt to join the Optional Golden Mask Show at 5:30 pm which comes with dinner; The night will be spent in Beijing.

Prepare yourself for a jam-packed day with a sumptuous breakfast; This is a day most-anticipated as you will see one of the Greatest Wonders of the World; But first, You will visit the Jade Factory which is sacred for China, you may purchase a trinket for yourself before heading to the Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass – You will see many temples, old structures and towers alongside the Wall. Take plenty of pictures before moving on to the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, this was the venue of the Olympic Games in 2008; Next is Xiushui Market where you will have some free time to indulge to your heart’s content, the best place in China to purchase Silk and you will find them in rows. After an eventful experience, you will proceed for dinner before turning your head in to spend another night in Beijing.

Grab sufficient serving of breakfast on your last morning Beijing before you check out and leave for your next destination which takes 6 hours by train. Xian is going to be well worth the journey as it will surely welcome you with charms of the countryside; You will meet your guide as soon as you reach and head on over for dinner before exploring the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square & Fountain which is the best place to learn about the influence of Buddhism on Chinese culture and home to the largest musical fountain in Asia. This will be an impressionable first stop before heading to your hotel for check-in and spending your first night in Xian.

Be ready for a full day of activities in Xian as soon as you are finished filling up your tummy with breakfast; This begins at the Crockery Factory to watch how porcelain is delicately made; You may also get miniature replicas of the Terracotta Warriors if it interests you. This is interestingly right before we take you to the actual site of the Terracotta Warriors to see rows and rows of life-size Terracotta Warriors in battle formation, this is one of the most significant archaeological excavations to ever occur. Next, you will head for lunch before going to the Muslim Quarter to experience a completely different culture and food or get to know over 20,000 Muslim Chinese locals residing here. There are over ten mosques here like the Great Mosque; You will have time at leisure to try some delicious food or souvenirs before you head out for dinner and back to the hotel or join the Optional Tour of Tang Dynasty Show before turning your head in for the night in Xian.

Enjoy your last breakfast in Xian before checking out to proceed for another train ride to Shanghai; the country’s biggest city. This train ride will take 7 hours to complete but it should take you to the hub of global finance where a futuristic skyline highlighting the Shanghai Tower and Oriental Pearl TV Tower will welcome you. Shanghai means “Above the Sea” – and you will find out why as soon as you meet your local guide and proceed for dinner. You will check in to the hotel after a satisfying meal where you can freely rest your head or take on the pulse of the city as it is always ready to be explored. You will, of course, spend the night in Shanghai.

Good morning Shanghai; A sumptuous breakfast will be ready for you at the hotel to prepare you for the guided tour of Shanghai. You might find it hard to believe that it was once a fishing village turned ultra-modern city-- The first stop is dedicated to the Jade Buddha Temple which houses two Buddha statues brought from Myanmar; After this, discover how delicate pearls are curated in the Pearl Factory. You will refuel yourself with a delicious lunch before going to the Bund area for the best view of the city, Nanjing Road for shopping and Jinmao Tower for a Walk In The Clouds experience on the skywalk. Admire the Huangpu River before heading to dinner and returning to the hotel to end the day, unless you’re joining the Optional Tour of the Acrobatic Show or exploring the city on your own before spending the night in Shanghai.
