Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting various temples in Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand from 1350 to 1767 until it was sacked by an invading Burmese army. Explore the most important of the ruined temples in the Ayutthaya Historical Park, including Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Wat Mahathat, Wat Lokayasutharam (Wat Phra Non), Wat Chaiwatthanaram, and the Elephant Camp.
