Travel Tips

  •  Credit/debit cards are widely accepted, but carry some cash for small vendors and rural areas.
  •  Use Bolt or eCabs instead of hailing taxis, they're more affordable and transparent.

  •  Don’t miss Mdina (the Silent City), Marsaxlokk (fishing village), and Gozo’s countryside and Citadel.
  •  Try local specialties - Pastizzi, rabbit stew (fenek), ftira (Maltese pizza), and fresh seafood.
