Your local AFC representative will guide you to check in to your hotel in Tokyo where you will spend the night and catch up on some much-needed rest. Overnight in Tokyo.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before boarding the coach to begin your exciting city tour of Tokyo. The first stop is Asakusa, where you’ll stroll along the famous Nakamise Street, a vibrant shopping street leading to the historic Senso-ji Temple. From there, we’ll head to make our way to the majestic Imperial Palace for a quick photo opportunity from the outside. visit the Imperial Garden and spend free time to explore. After a leisurely lunch (on your own), we’ll visit Tokyo Tower, where you can enjoy breathtaking views from its observation deck, 150 meters above the ground. Finally, the coach will transfer you back to your hotel for a relaxing evening, where you’ll overnight in Tokyo.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before choosing to enjoy a relaxing day at leisure or join the group for the optional Mt. Fuji Day Tour. For those opting for the tour, the first stop is Oshino Hakkai, a picturesque village known for its crystal-clear springs fed by the melting snow from Mt. Fuji. After soaking in the serene surroundings, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch (included) before continuing the adventure. Next, take a scenic cruise on Lake Yamanakako, and experience the stunning views of Mt. Fuji from the water. Afterward, you’ll ride the Kawaguchiko Panoramic Ropeway, offering spectacular aerial views of the surrounding landscape. After an eventful day, you’ll transfer back to the hotel, where you’ll have the evening free to explore or unwind at your leisure. As you prepare for your next leg of the journey, pack a small overnight bag for your stay in Hiroshima, as the rest of your luggage will be sent ahead to Osaka by coach. Enjoy your overnight stay in Tokyo before embarking on the next chapter of your adventure.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, board the coach for your transfer from Tokyo to Hiroshima. Upon arrival in Hiroshima, enjoy some free time for lunch at your leisure before embarking on a day of exploration. The first stop will be the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, where you'll have the opportunity to reflect on the city’s history and resilience. The park is home to the powerful Atomic Bomb Dome, a haunting reminder of the tragic events of 1945. You’ll also visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which offers an in-depth look at the events of the bombing and its aftermath. Later, you’ll transfer back to Hiroshima and check into your hotel for the night. The evening is free for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Spend the night in Hiroshima.

My family and I recently went on the Japanese Odyssey tour courtesy of AFC Holidays and it was outstanding! Japan dream tour with AFC Our first tour with AFC Holidays is to Japan - an amazing & highly recommended destination. This is also our first tour in a big group which also enabled different experiences with other families from different countries, cultures, background etc. From the very beginning, we planned a tour for another country. However, due to some hiccups in visa application, we changed our destination to Japan. Kudos to Mr. Arnold who helped us a lot in getting approval for package changing, visa, etc. Another plus point going to the AFC operations team who arranged a session with us 1 week prior to the tour with tips & necessary advices. Moreover, on the date of traveling, operations team gave us 2 calls reminding us about the flight departure date & time since our flight is 1 day prior to the tour. Special thanks to our tour guide Mrs. Mari who became our close friend after 1 week traveling together. She is a very supportive, caring, knowledgeable & warm person who was managing the tour very well. Apart from that, we would like to express our thanks to the driver - Mr. Okamoto who was silently supporting us during the long journey in 7 days (Tokyo-Fuji-Nagano-Takayama-Kyoto). Overall, we had great experience with AFC team in the first trip. If someone asks for recommendations, we wouldn’t be hesitant to say “AFC holidays”. Great job team!
