Day 01: UAE - Baku, Azerbaijan

Upon arrival at Baku International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local guide. After a brief meet and greet, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city. Enjoy a brief city orientation. Later, transfer to the hotel fro checkin. Overnight in Baku.

Day 02: Free Day or Optional Tour: Shahdag Day Tour

Included Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

After breakfast, enjoy a free day or join the optional Shahdag day tour. Those joining the tour will transfer to Shahdag, stopping en route to explore the unique Candy Cane Mountains before arriving at the Shahdag Mountain Complex. Enjoy a cable car ride to the mountain peaks and spend your free time experiencing activities such as the roller coaster, quad biking, or ziplining. After the tour, return to Baku for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Free Day or Optional Tour: Absheron Excursion and Old Baku Tour

Included Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your excursion to the Absheron Peninsula with visits to the historic Ateshgah Fire Temple and the natural wonder Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain), where flames rise continuously from the earth. Later, return to Baku and enjoy a city exploration including an exterior photo stop at the architectural masterpiece Heydar Aliyev Center, a stroll along Nizami Street and Fountain Square, and a visit to the UNESCO-listed Icherisheher featuring landmarks such as the Maiden Tower and historic caravanserais. AFC Holidays delivered an awesome itinerary on my trip to Baku Azerbaijan, everything was according to plan, in order and hassle-free. The accommodation provided was excellent through its service especially the breakfast which was phenomenal. The Gabala optional tour was wonderful especially the cable car. Baku is a beautiful city, perfect climate and compact with tourist spots which you could complete within days walking. Baku was one of the wonderful experiences traveling with AFC holidays since they planned the trip very well from Dubai right until providing us with good tours services. The tour company hired by AFC in Baku was excellent and very prompt with their timings, transportation, airport transfers etc. right up to providing us with personal tours too during our free time. The only disaster was the hotel which was suppose to be 4 stars but we could rate it as 2 star since the amenities were below standards. No proper restaurants for our lunches or dinners and also the offered breakfast was similar on all 3 days we stayed there. Also, room cards had to be activated on a daily basis and also the hotel was located in a very remote, deserted place which was far from restaurants or shopping areas. AFC have always put their best effort to serve their customer but I think customer feedback helps them to serve us better.

I LOVE AFC HOLIDAYS?? This is my first time traveling with AFC. I been to Baku in Eid Holidays. The travel was actually gift from my husband which I thoroughly enjoyed.
