Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The day is yours to relax or join an optional full-day excursion to Spice Island and Prison Island. Start with a guided spice farm tour, where you’ll awaken your senses with the scents, flavors, and textures of Zanzibar’s famed spices. Next, head to Prison Island (Changu), once used as a slave detention center and later a colonial prison. Today, it's a peaceful retreat where you might see giant Aldabra tortoises, stroll the island, or snorkel in the surrounding coral reefs. Don’t forget your swimwear, towel, and waterproof sunblock. Evening transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Zanzibar.

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise this morning. A hot breakfast buffet is ready for you. Today you have the option to spend the day at leisure or join the group for an optional tour to explore the Jozani Forest and Turtle Sanctuary. This starts in Jozani forest, home of the the rare red-colored Colobus monkeys, forest trail, mangroves trail. Then you will proceed to the Turtle Sanctuary. Here, you can see different species of turtles, learn about their habitat, conservation status, and breeding programs. Overnight in Zanzibar.

Prison Island is also home to a population of giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over a century old. These tortoises are a major attraction and can be seen up close.
