Today’s excursion will start with a city tour of Amman before you leave. Amman itself is a 7000-year-old city capital, highlighting the Amman Citadel as its primary iconic sight. You may also visit the Amman Archaeological Museum, Hercules Temple, Byzantine Church & the Ummayad Palace. You will also find the Roman Amphitheater right next to the Folklore Museum. The downtown area is ideal for a casual stroll and shopping experience right by the old markets, there are also some more modern malls if that is more to your liking. Up next is Madaba located just 30 minutes outside Amman along the King’s Highway. This excursion will highlight Madaba’s St. George Church & Mosaic Map portraying the Holy Land using over 2 million mosaic pieces, mapping the entire Jordan along with Palestine and Egypt. Next, you will visit Moses Mountain (locally named Mount Nebo). Located just 10 minutes from Madaba. A significant location where Moses’ Tomb is seemingly located. The mountain overlooks the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the West Bank along with Jerusalem. Ultimately, the drive will take you to Petra where you will immediately check into the hotel as soon as you reach the city and have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Petra.

Petra is one of the newest Seven Wonders of the World so you will definitely find your journey worth it to be part of the breathtaking walking tour of the ancient ruins. A city that is carved straight out of solid rock, dramatic facades and alleys leading you to Al-Kazneh. Highlights of the Roman Theatre, Corinthian tomb, Palace of Pharos’s Daughter, the Carved Roman Theater and the Royal Courts. If you have strong knees, you may even take the 1000 steps to the high chair of the oldest Cathedral of the Bishop. An ancient Nabatean sacrificial site and altar carved out of a rock. Today, you will enjoy some of Jordan’s biggest natural highlights, traversing through ancient valleys and weathered sandstone mountains coloured pink and white deep into the sand. It is this unique characteristic that made Wadi Rum the perfect place to shoot some popular science fiction films like Martian (2015). Some of the biggest highlights for today include the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, Al Khaz’aly, Lawrence Jail, and the Sunset Area. Today, you might indulge yourself in some desert activities like a Jeep ride, Camel ride, Sand Skiing or just relaxing by the Luxurious desert camps. This place is truly ideal for a photoshoot if you like an aesthetic that feels almost out of this world. After this, you will join the drive to the Dead Sea where you will check into a hotel and spend the night. Overnight in a hotel near the Dead Sea.
