Overview

Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan is a great fusion of modernistic and historic elements. Baku is divided into 3 major districts; the Inner City, part built under the Soviet Union & the latest part of the city. Iconic buildings such as the Flame Towers and the UNESCO Heritage site of Palace of Shirvanshahs complex compliment each other. An unusual experience to look forward to are the mud volcanoes. The formation of mud bubbles due to water heated deep underneath having incorporated with minerals and gases is an experience you’re not likely to forget.
