You will start the day by having breakfast at the hotel before driving to Chitwan jungle, which is approximately 185 kilometers away and takes 5 hours. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or resort. Chitwan National Park is renowned for being one of Asia's best-managed parks and is home to over 50 mammal species, 55 amphibians and reptiles species, and 525 bird species. The park's wildlife includes the great one-horned Asian Rhinoceros, Gaur, wild Bison, sloth Bear, different species of Deer, Rhesus Monkey, black-faced Langur, spotted Leopard, fish-eating Gharial, flesh-eating marsh Crocodile, and Gangetic Dolphin. Additionally, it is one of the few remaining habitats for the Royal Bengal tiger. The birdlife is also varied and rich, making it a fantastic place for Ornithologists. You will have lunch at your hotel before the manager briefs you on the program/jungle activities during your stay. You will then go on a guided tour to the nearby Tharu village, where you can see the indigenous people's distinct architectural style, built solely of natural materials such as straw, wood, and mud. The villages are often peaceful, non-industrial areas, with the inhabitants engaged in an annual agricultural cycle. After dinner, you will spend the night at your hotel in Chitwan.
